River Ridge Commerce Center is a 6,000-acre business and office park. Established in 1998, the complex was designed to offset the lost economic activity caused by the closure of the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant.
The industrial park has seen several major projects announced over the last several months, including Facebook parent Meta planning an $800 million data center campus.
Additionally, Canadian Solar last year announced an $800 million investment in a new solar photovoltaic cell production facility that is expected to create 1,200 jobs over the next several years.
