The Kokomo Tribune reports the Miami County Council last week approved $2.85 million for a 58,000 square-foot building that would be located at the Grissom Aeroplex.
Jim Tidd, executive director of the Miami County Economic Development Authority, told council members the county currently does not have any buildings to market to prospective businesses. “We have land, but every community has land to try and attract new development or expansion,” said Tidd.
