Sells Group Adds to Leadership Team

Barnes was appointed president and chief marketing officer. She previously served as chief executive officer at Ryno Strategic Solutions. Before leading Ryno, Barnes served as president and CEO of Indianapolis-based Defender Direct (now called Defenders), where she had worked since 1999. She was named president in 2010 and president/CEO in 2011 and left in 2013. Albacete was named chief operating officer. He is the former chief information officer and vice president of strategic initiatives at Defenders. In his new role, Albacete will oversee the operations, technology and product delivery. Founded in 2012, Sells Group is a full-service, Internet marketing company with offices throughout the U. S. specializing in digital marketing, digital development and creative design for both large and small companies. The Indianapolis-based company began the year with 16 employees and now employs 55. The company hopes to have at least 80 high-wage jobs ($80k average) by December, 2016.
