The company did not disclose how much it is investing in the expansion.
Schrader is an auctioneer of agricultural land and equipment.
The company says the Colorado office will be led by Jess Nighswonger. Her primary focus will be on farms and ranches.
“For years we have operated throughout the continental United States, with success in selling a wide range of assets, including cropland, pasture, livestock operations, timberland, machinery and much more,” said R.D. Schrader, president of Schrader Real Estate and Auction Co. “Establishing the new office in Colorado fit perfectly into our plans. Jess was a foreman with Cargill for several years before joining our team.”
Schrader says the Wisconsin team recently managed a major dairy liquidation for a total of $11.4 million. The Wisconsin office is being managed by Darrell Crapp and Chris Hoffman.
