Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Opens Health Clinic

The facility is staffed by a nurse practitioner who provides basic health services like flu shots, immunizations, health assessments, physical exams and lab testing.

SMWC representatives joined Union Health officials for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the new clinic on Friday. “We are extremely excited about this partnership with Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College,” said Steve Holman, president and chief executive officer of Union Health. “Our mission is to provide compassionate healthcare of the highest quality, and we look forward to doing so right here on campus as part of the SMWC Health Services Clinic.”
The clinic is located in the Rooney Library, and will serve students, faculty and staff, along with Sisters of Providence and their employees. Health services for students are covered by tuition and fees. Hours are 8a-4p Monday and Wednesday, 9a-3p Tuesday and Thursday, and closed on Friday.
