Saint Francis Adding Computer Science Degrees

Subscribe NowThe University of Saint Francis will launch three computer science undergraduate programs beginning this fall. Enrollment is open for the four-year programs in Game and Application Development, Cyber Security and Computer Information Systems.
The university has also partnered with local businesses offering hands-on learning opportunities to students enrolled in the new programs, including Fort Wayne-based Aptera Software Inc. USF Vice President for Academic Affairs Andrew Prall says receiving professional mentorship is a crucial element to the programs.
"Employers look to us for quality graduates," said USF President Sister Elise Kriss. "These programs strengthen our commitment to STEM education as we continue to produce the talent needed by so many community businesses and organizations. As we graduate students from these three degree programs, we will see USF alumni solving the technology needs of major employers in our region."
