The election was made at the league’s annual board of directors meeting in Nashville. League Commissioner Bryan Wickline says Rosselli’s international marketing experience and his vision for the future will be instrumental to the league.
"I am humbled to be elected president, by such a prestigious and respected group of team owners," stated Rosselli. "I intend to listen to the board’s opinions, using consistency as a focus point and guide this league forward, which in my mind has the greatest name for summer baseball (Prospect League) to the nation’s top tier level."
The Terre Haute REX won the 2015 Prospect League Championship. The league, which also includes the Kokomo Jackrabbits and the Lafayette Aviators, says over 340,000 people attended Prospect League games last year.
