Rose-Hulman Hosting Career Fair

Subscribe NowNearly 250 companies are expected to take part in a job fair Wednesday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. Big names including Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT), Google Inc. (GOOG) and Texas Instruments Inc.(Nasdaq: TXN) will be among those looking to fill positions in STEM-related fields.
The Fall Career Fair is set for Wednesday, September 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Rose-Hulman’s Sports and Recreation Center.
Director of Career Services and Employer Relations Kevin Hewerdine calls career opportunities "robust" for STEM college graduates, saying some companies have already begun hosting campus information events this semester. Rose-Hulman also hosted a Graduate School Fair this week, with representatives from nearly 50 programs from throughout the United States attending.
The institute says its graduates earn an average of $67,500 annually throughout their first 10 years of employment.
