Matt Sause has been named chief executive officer of Roche Diagnostics and a member of the corporate executive committee.
The move is effective January 1. Sause, who is based in Indy, will relocate to the corporate office in Basel, Switzerland.
Sause succeeds Thomas Schinecker, who was named Roche CEO.
“Matt Sause’s career at Roche has spanned twenty years in multiple countries across Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America in both the Diagnostics and Pharma divisions. His combination of scientific knowledge with commercial experience makes him an excellent leader for the Diagnostics division,” said Schinecker.
Sause is no stranger to the Roche Group, the parent of Roche Diagnostics. He joined the company in 2002 in a variety of account manager and product leadership roles for the diagnostics and pharmaceuticals division.
In 2019, he was named president and CEO of Roche Diagnostics North America.
