Richmond Treatment Center Scores Another Big Gift

The organization is now within $600,000 of the target set by its $10 million Community of Hope Campaign. The most recent round of funding will support new outpatient care facilities and administration offices.
Chief Executive Officer Darrell Gordon says "any time you receive a gift of over $1 million it is significant. We are truly blessed to have received two gifts in the past month worth over $3.4 million. The impact of these gifts on Wernle’s ability to dramatically help the children and families we serve has been raised to an unprecedented new level. The family who made this gift to Wernle has been associated with us for many years, and this gift represents their ongoing commitment of both financial resources and their time as volunteers toward creating a bright future for our organization."
The first part of the two-phase campaign wrapped up in December 2014. It came from the Sharpe Family Foundation, the Ar-Hale Family Foundation and Paul & Pat Lingle and paid for a new residential hall and renovation of an existing one. The funds allowed Wernle to again serve girls on-campus.
A southwest Ohio family gave the most recent contribution.
