The Palladium-Item reports Vandor Corp. is seeking multiple tax abatements for the project, which would create nearly 30 jobs.
Vandor is looking to invest $1.8 million to build a more than 17,000-square-foot addition to its facility on Rich Road, according to the publication. The remainder of the planned investment will cover new manufacturing and IT equipment.
The company has multiple divisions that manufacture caskets and casket interior components, as well as reels for wire & cable, cordage, and fiber optics, and a plastics subsidiary that focuses on single-shot and multi-shot injection molding.
