Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE: SPG) expects the multi-million dollar project to be completed before the holiday shopping season.
Simon said Monday the extensive enhancements are “well underway” and shoppers should already see visible changes.
“With our convenient proximity to I-65, we know these highly-anticipated renovations will continue to attract regional shoppers seeking tremendous savings, a variety of dining options and an engaging play area the whole family will enjoy,” said Kyleigh Haro, director of marketing and business development at Edinburgh Premium Outlets.
Simon announced the project last fall. It includes the additions of a new entry archway featuring public artwork, a food truck plaza with café seating and a playground plaza which will offer green space and shaded seating areas. Haro says visitors should see construction progress on the playground area later this summer.
