Reid Health will offer EMS/ambulance services to western Wayne County beginning Jan. 1. The service will provide three vehicles, with at least one of them stationed in the Cambridge City area.

“We wanted to be sure everyone in the western Wayne County area had continuity of access to critically important emergency transportation,” said Misti Foust-Cofield, Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at Reid Health. “We look forward to working with other emergency transportation providers to ensure immediate access to our patients in this area.”

This additional ambulance service follows Reid’s ongoing effort to support medical staff and meet the increasing need for medical services in and around Indiana.
