Raytheon Awarded Military Contracts

The DoD is spending nearly $30 million on avionics systems testing and integration for the Navy and Air Force. The work, to be completed in Indy, is expected to be finished in December 2021. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
The company also was awarded a $17.5 million contract, a modification to a previously awarded contract. This project involves missile launchers which will be produced at the Indianapolis location. Work will last until February 2023. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
In July, Raytheon Co. received a $48 million contract for Air Soldier System engineering services. According to the DoD website, bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 30, 2024. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
