Range USA opens 5th Indiana location

Ohio-based Range USA this week opened its new store in Mishawaka, the company’s fifth in Indiana. Financial details were not disclosed, but the company said the indoor gun range and retail store will ultimately employ up to 30 full-time and part-time employees.
In addition to the retail space, the 15,000-square-foot store at 655 W. University Dr. in Mishawaka includes 20, 25-yard shooting lanes open to the public and two, 25-person capacity classrooms. Range USA founder Tom Willingham said the goal of the company’s stores is to develop responsible gun owners.
Range USA opened its Merrillville store in 2018, which Willingham said attracted many customers from Mishawaka.
“The response to Merrillville has been so positive, it just made sense to open another location in northern Indiana,” Willingham said in a news release. “We are very excited to be open in Mishawaka and look forward to servicing southern Indiana with our Evansville location, which opens later this year.”
In addition to the Merrillville and Mishawaka locations, Range USA also has locations in Carmel, Indianapolis and Greenwood.
Range USA, which bills itself as the largest operator of indoor gun ranges, will hold a grand opening event May 5-7 at the new Mishawaka store.
