Bedford-based Radius Indiana has promoted Joe Timbrook to chief operating officer. Timbrook has overseen workforce development projects, the tourism advisory council and fiscal management for the organization since 2011.

Radius says Timbrook will lead several major initiatives and provide oversight and direction for business development within the organization. He will also work to enhance relationships with business, community and government leaders at the regional, state, national and international levels.

"Joe has been an instrumental part of Radius for most of the organization’s existence and has been a major catalyst for many of its initiatives," said Jeff Quyle, chief executive officer of Radius Indiana. "I look forward to working with Joe in the COO role, and I am confident that his enthusiasm, commitment to growing our economy, and invaluable understanding of the region will bring continued success to Radius."

In addition to his work at Radius, Timbrook participates on Indiana Works Councils for several regions and is the administrator for the Southern Indiana Business Alliance and the Regional Impact Fund.
