Radial Opens Fulfillment Center in Brownsburg

The e-commerce technology and operations company says the nearly 700,000-square-foot facility is the largest in its network and will have the capacity to house about 2,000 employees.
Radial is not providing details of its financial investment in the fulfillment center. The company says it is initially looking to fill more than 20 management-level and 25 hourly positions, with plans to grow to more than 150 employees this summer. As the peak retail season draws near, Radial says it will ramp up to full capacity by adding 1,800 seasonal jobs through the fall.
As preparations to open the center continue, Radial will Wednesday host a hiring event to interview potential employees for both management and hourly positions. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn at 41 Maplehurst Drive in Brownsburg. Job seekers are being encouraged to apply online ahead of time and those who cannot attend are also encouraged to apply online for consideration.
The facility will be Radial’s 16th fulfillment center, according to its website. The company also has facilities in California, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, and Virginia, as well as the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany.
