Racing Trade Show Kicks Off in Indy

Subscribe NowThe 2016 Performance Racing Industry Trade Show begins Thursday at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Nearly 1,200 racing businesses will be exhibiting during the three-day event. Last year, 50,000 people attended.
The event will feature conferences and seminars with motorsports industry leaders and racing personalities such as Rick Mears, Jeff Gordon and Lyn St. James. It will also include special exhibits, such as the Team Penske 50th Anniversary in Motorsports.
Last year’s record-setting event saw more than 50,000 attendees and generated more than $70 million in economic impact, according to Visit Indy. The trade show is one of the largest events held at the convention center along with Gen Con, which drew nearly 61,000 attendees in 2016.
