Purdue Northwest to induct 2023 Society of Innovators class

One individual inductee, three team inductees and an Advocate for Innovation inductee will be recognized as a part of the 2023 class.
Each were nominated for the recognition and reviewed by a selection committee comprised of local not-for-profit, business and education leaders. Innovators were chosen for their ability to propose a new solution or societal benefit that creates measurable value.
The Advocate for Innovation distinction specifically recognizes those who champion innovation across the Northwest Indiana region. The 2023 Society of Innovators class includes:
Individual Inductee
- Tracktable Lifestyle owner Alejandra Alaniz of Valparaiso
Team Inductees
- Coates, Inc. of Merrillville, including team members Catisha Toney and Lolita Wilson
- Hammond Group of Hammond, including team members Thomas Wojcinski, Gordon Beckley, Richard Botts, Gary Dean Botts II, Enqin Gao, Perry Hedge, Perry Dewayne Hedge II, Daniel Loosemore, Terry Murphy, Pete Nikoloski, Andrew Reynolds and James Shearouse
