The event featured students from 18 universities and colleges and received support from 20 Indiana logistics companies.
The Purdue team won a $5,000 cash prize for taking first place. Teams from Indiana State University and Indiana University won $2,000 and $1,000 prizes for placing second and third, respectively. The competition involved teams of four students developing solutions to real-world logistics issues.
Conexus Indiana Logistics Council Vice-Chair Nick Hoagland says the event also gave students an important opportunity to connect with high-ranking logistics executives from throughout the state to learn about the industry and career opportunities. Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative says about 300,000 Hoosiers work in the state’s logistics industry.
