Purdue Polytechnic HS names CEO

Subscribe NowPurdue Polytechnic High Schools, a network of public charter schools, has named Keeanna Warren chief executive officer. She has been serving as associate executive director under founder and current Executive Director Scott Bess.
PPHS says Bess will stay on with the organization as founder and special project director, however Warren will lead the high school network.
“Dr. Warren is an extraordinary leader and is uniquely qualified to continue, accelerate and elevate the work we have done at PPHS since its inception,” said Bess. “I am thankful to our board for recognizing Dr. Warren’s talent and elevating her to this new role.”
Warren will oversee all operations of the STEM-focused schools, including curriculum and student services. PPHS currently operates two campuses in Indianapolis and one in South Bend.
The educator joined PPHS in 2017 and in 2019, became founding principal of PPHS North located in the former Broad Ripple High School campus.
“I look forward to leading PPHS in this new capacity. I’m grateful for the board’s vote of confidence and honored they recognize my proven track record and success as both an educator and administrator,” said Warren. “Together, alongside our amazing teachers and staff, we will continue to create an equitable and results-oriented learning environment for all students.”
Warren begin her academic career as a fifth-grade teacher at the Andrew J. Brown Academy charter school in Indianapolis. Since then, she has held various administrative and leadership positions.
She will step into this new role on July 1.
