Dussliere will become president and CEO of the foundation, beginning Oct. 1.
The Purdue for Life Foundation oversees all aspects of alumni-facing organizations, alumni initiatives and services. That includes oversight of the Purdue Alumni Association, President’s Council and John Purdue Club.
Dussliere is a Boilermaker alumna and has been with the USOPC since 2003 in various roles. In that time, she was a senior vice president and then the first woman to be president of Americas Paralympic Committee.
“I am deeply honored and thrilled to return to Purdue in this role,” Dussliere said in a press release. “Purdue University has always held a special place in my heart, and I am eager to contribute to its mission in a meaningful way.”
Dussliere succeeds Matt Folk, who will transition into an ambassador for Purdue University in Indianapolis.
