Purdue Global Nursing Dean to Retire

Subscribe NowMarilyn Wideman, dean of the School of Nursing for Purdue University Global, has announced she will retire at the end of May. Melissa Burdi, associate dean of undergraduate programs, has been promoted to replace her. A nurse for 45 years, Wideman has served Purdue Global for five years, initially as associate dean of online nursing programs before being promoted to dean. Burdi joined Purdue Global in October 2018. Prior to that, she served as national director of academic operations at Chamberlain University in Indianapolis.
