Buck, who previously served as an associate dean at Anderson University, succeeds Thomas Boyd, who recently retired.
In his new role, Buck will be responsible for the academic leadership of the school’s programs, faculty and students. He will also work to advance the online university’s mission, focusing on adult learners.
"We are excited to have Jeff join us," said Purdue Global Chancellor Betty Vandenbosch. "He has a terrific background and understands our students, both those adults returning to school and those with military experience. Serving in the Quartermaster Corps of the U.S. Army provided Jeff experiences that are helpful insights to the unique needs of our students who are veterans and active duty military personnel."
Buck earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Ball State University.
