Pruitt promoted to president at Lake City Bank

Subscribe NowWarsaw-based Lakeland Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, Lake City Bank, on Thursday announced Kristin Pruitt has been promoted to president of both organizations. Pruitt most recently served as chief administrative officer for the financial institution.
Pruitt joined the bank in 2008 as senior vice president and general counsel. She was promoted to executive vice president in 2014 and CAO in 2019.
“Kristin has proven to be an impactful leader during her career at Lake City Bank, David Findlay, CEO of Lakeland Financial and Lake City Bank, said in a news release. “From day one, she’s brought a practical and thoughtful approach to leadership that exemplifies the Lake City Bank culture. This long-planned move is a further affirmation of the strength and depth of our team.”
The bank said Pruitt will continue her current duties overseeing risk management, compliance, and corporate governance, among others. She will also become more directly involved with the bank’s investor and public relations initiatives and client and community engagement efforts.
In addition to the promotion, Pruitt will also join the boards of directors for both organizations.
Pruitt is a University of Notre Dame graduate who earned her juris doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. Before joining Lake City, she served as assistant general counsel and chief compliance officer for South Bend-based 1st Source Bank.
Lake City Bank bills itself as the sixth-largest bank headquartered in Indiana with $6.4 billion in assets. Lakeland Financial is the 43rd largest public company in Indiana based on 2021 revenue, according to IBJ research.
