The summer baseball league that features three teams from Indiana has released its 2016 schedule. The Prospect League includes the Kokomo Jackrabbits, the Terre Haute REX and the Lafayette Aviators.

The Jackrabbits are returning after their first season at the new Kokomo Municipal Stadium. Kokomo will play host to the Prospect League All-Star game this year. 

The REX are the 2015 Prospect League Champions. Earlier this week, REX Co-Owner and General Manager Bruce Rosselli was announced as the league’s new president of the board.

The Lafayette Aviators are the newest members of Indiana’s delegation in the league. The team announced its name and let the fans choose its logo last month.

The Prospect League is a summer collegiate wood bat league. It allows college players to get experience using a wood bat and also Major League Baseball scouts a chance to see players using wood bats against live pitching.
