The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum will once again host indoor professional football. Our partners at WOWO radio report coliseum board members have officially signed a three-year deal with the National Gridiron League.

The team will play under the name Indiana Blue Bombers and will be coached by Kelvin Kinney. The Blue Bombers plan to play half of their 16-game season in Fort Wayne. This will be the fifth try for indoor football in the city after four failed attempts between 2003 and 2010. Click here to learn more about the Blue Bombers. 

The original announcement by the NGL was made in September. The season is slated to begin in March.
