The survey team asked 140,000 students at the colleges to rate their schools on dozens of topics important to applicants, such as Best Science Labs, Best Health Services, and Best Campus Food.
There is no overall ranking for the best university from 1 to 385.
“We are well aware, however, that applicants need more than an academic assessment to choose the colleges best for them. We created our dozens of ranking lists specifically to facilitate that search,” said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review’s Editor-in-Chief and lead author of the book. “We tally our lists using data we gather directly from our surveys students of attending these colleges. Our survey asks the students about their professors, administrators, school services, campus culture, and other facets of life at their schools."
Here’s who made the list in Indiana, in alphabetical order of the city where it’s located:
- Indiana University – Bloomington
