The agribusiness company, with its global headquarters in West Lafayette, is the focus of this week’s Ag+Bio+Science podcast, presented by AgriNovus Indiana.
“We’re really a company that starts at the problem and works back to a solution,” said Bret Sitzmann, head of grain and ecosystem at Solinftec.
In the past year the Software-as-a-service company has announced several new partnerships, including with a satellite company and an international ag equipment maker. Sitzmann says the partnerships are made with the farmer in mind.
“We’re working at the farm gate with our partners,” Sitzmann told podcast host Mitch Frazier, who is already president and chief executive of AgriNovus Indiana. “We’re not necessarily trying to disrupt. In general, our sole focus is better service for farmers, we’re bullish on service and supporting those that provide it.
