In January, developers of the aquatic center launched a capital campaign to secure the remaining funding needed to be fully operational.
According to the Marshall County Economic Development Corp. the center received over $3 million of funding through New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) and Regional Cities funding to help pay for the project.
The aquatic center includes a 10-lane pool, two diving boards and seating for over 400 people.
The City of Plymouth, Plymouth Community School Corporation, and Ancilla College will use the facilities.
The community is also conducting ribbon cutting ceremonies for a new daycare and a new Marshall County Philanthropy Center.
