Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based education nonprofit Project Lead The Way has named David Dimmett president and chief executive officer, succeeding Vince Bertram who retired this spring. Dimmett’s been with PLTW for 11 years and most recently held those roles in an interim capacity.
He has also served as PLTW’s Chief Impact Officer focused on equity, access, and supporting PLTW’s mission.
PLTW helps prepare students for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

Prior to joining PLTW, Dimmett served as the Chief Academic Officer of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. where he was instrumental in leading innovation and unprecedented improvements in student achievement.
