Subscribe NowThe Indianapolis Indians have announced the exhibition game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds at Victory Field sold out in less than a day. Officials say it is the quickest an event has sold out since the ballpark opened in 1996.
The Indianapolis Indians say the tickets were gone less than 24 hours after announcing the April 2 game.
This will be the first time since June 12, 1997 a Major League Baseball team has played in Indianapolis. The Indians defeated the Reds that day 3-1 in an exhibition game.
