The company, which provides commissioning, qualification and validation services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies, has acquired Welsh Commissioning Group Inc., headquartered in Washington state.
Financial terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed. However, as an employee-owned company, Performance Validation says the Welsh employees coming on board will become employee-owners as a result of the deal.
“Welsh will serve as an important growth engine for expanding PV’s capabilities in providing Building Commissioning services and expand our geographic reach in providing Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation services to the life science industry,” Richard Van Doel, chief executive officer of Performance Validation, said in a news release.
Welsh Commissioning Group was founded in 2005 and provides commissioning services in 11 states, mostly in the western United States.
