INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Governor Mike Pence recently named appointees to the following boards and commissions.
State Board of Education:
1. Gordon Hendry (Marion County), reappointed to serve a four-year term through June 30, 2018
2. Tony Walker (Lake County), reappointed to serve a four year term through June 30, 2018
3. BJ Watts (Vanderburgh County), reappointed to serve a four year term through June 30, 2018
4. Cari Whicker (Wells County), reappointed to serve a four year term through June 30, 2018
Commission for Higher Education:
1. Gerald Bepko (Marion County), reappointed to serve a four-year term through June 30, 2018
2. Lisa Hershman (Tippecanoe County), appointed to serve the remainder of an unexpired term through June 30, 2017
3. Christopher Murphy (St. Joseph County), reappointed to serve a four-year term through June 30, 2018
State Museum and Historical Sites Board of Directors:
1. Perry Hines (Hamilton County), appointed to serve a three-year term through June 30, 2017
