Our partners at WTHI-TV report the company has invested over $6 million dollars into the farm, creating over 50 construction jobs in the area.
The company has partnered with Duke Energy and plans for the farm to be up and running in 2019. Upon completion, it will be able to supply over 500 local homes and businesses with power.
“Cypress Creek is thrilled to be making this important investment and excited for this project to come on-line, which will generate enough clean energy for over 500 local homes and businesses in the area for years to come. We greatly appreciate the cooperation of the local utility (DEI) and all of the community leaders for making this project a reality,” the company told WTHI.
