Carpenter Named Krieg DeVault’s Chief Diversity Officer

In her added role, she will be responsible for leading diversity initiatives and identifying partnerships for the firm. Additionally, Carpenter will serve as chair of the firm’s five-member diversity & inclusion committee. It meets regularly, and is committed to maintaining an inclusive firm culture that embraces and advances a diverse workforce reflecting client and community partners.
Carpenter is a core member of the commercial and real estate lending practice group. Her practice is devoted primarily to commercial lending, banking, real estate, corporate finance and general corporate matters. Carpenter has more than 30 years-worth of experience in commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, construction lending, letters of credit, leveraged acquisitions, real estate financings, subordinated financings, alternative energy financings and ESOP transactions which require financing.
Also, during her tenure at Krieg DeVault, she has served on the firm’s marketing committee, house committee and a variety of ad hoc committees.
