Subscribe NowNewsweek has released its list of the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces for 2023, and Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health is among the honorees. The list “recognizes companies that have created a workplace where co-workers feel respected, inspired and appreciated, and are at the center of the business model.”
The ranking was determined by a survey of more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces ranking from 50 to more than 100,000 workers, interviews with several hundred company leaders, and an analysis of external public ratings on websites such as Glassdoor, Indeed and Google.
Parkview Health is the only Indiana company on this year’s list, being ranked at No. 87. Newsweek cited the company’s “impressive array of benefits,” including tuition assistance and education loan repayment, paid and volunteer time off, and “lifestyle benefits” that reimburse employees for personal expenses of their choosing.
CEO Rick Henvey said in a news release the health system is humbled by the recognition.
“At Parkview, we’ve built a culture of excellence to ensure our co-workers are well supported and able to grow, allowing them to provide the best quality care to the patients they treat and the families they serve,” Henvey said. “As we continue to seek out new talent to join our team, awards like Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces help prove that Parkview is a place where they can thrive.”
Parkview Health employs more than 15,000 people across its entire footprint in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
The top five companies on the list are Florida-based Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Wisconsin-based Fairway Independent Mortgage, Virginia-based Booz Allen Hamilton, Florida-based Hilton Grand Vacations and California-based Edmunds.
