Earlier this week, the Capital Improvement Board in Indianapolis approved plans by the team for a $50 million practice facility that includes space for a major tenant.
At the time, the Pacers said the team would release facility renderings and an anchor tenant during this morning’s news conference.
The new, five-story facility would include two practice courts and state-of-the-art training and medical facilities. Pacers Sports & Entertainment Senior Vice President Bill Benner says the project "will be totally privately financed by Pacers Sports and Entertainment," calling that a "fairly extraordinary action."
Pacers Sports & Entertainment President Rick Fuson, President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird and St. Vincent Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Nalli are set to take part in today’s announcement.
