Oprah to Spotlight The Cake Bake Shop

Subscribe NowA popular bakery and cafe in Indianapolis is getting some powerful publicity.The Cake Bake Shop says it has been chosen to be on Oprah Winfrey’s "O List" in next month’s issue of O: The Oprah Magazine.
On its Facebook page, the Cake Bake Shop says Oprah tried its Earls Court, Peppermint Candy Cane and Mint Chocolate Chip Cake. The company says the Mint Chocolate Chip Cake will be featured in the magazine, while one of the other two will be part of Oprah’s "2018 Favorite Things."
Last month, the Cake Bake Shop announced it would open a second location in Carmel. The new restaurant will be located at Carmel City Center inside the Baldwin building, which is still under construction. The company hopes to open the location this fall.
The Cake Bake Shop opened in 2014. It was featured last year on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick’s Trendiana segment focusing on some of the state’s best bakeries. You can see the segment by clicking here.
