One Southern Indiana has announced the winners of its 2017 ACE Awards. The honors recognize members of the economic development organization in categories including Young Professional of the Year, Community Leader of the Year and Professional of the Year.

The winners were honored Thursday at a luncheon in Jeffersonville in front of more than 250 attendees.

The 2017 winners are:

James W. Robinson ACE Award for Young Professional of the Year
Chris Garten, owner and president of Signature Countertops, Inc.

Kevin Hammersmith ACE Award for Community Leader
Leslie Lewis-Sheets, owner of LL&A Interior Design

Sam Day ACE Award for Professional of the Year
Doug York, president of Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC

The winners were chosen through online voting scores and scores from an independent panel of judges. Candidates were evaluated on criteria including business history, community involvement, response to adversity, newly-created opportunities and innovation.
