Old National’s Vanzo Named HR Professional of The Year

Subscribe NowKendra Vanzo is one of two recipients of the 2017 Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year award. This state-wide honor, awarded annually by the Indiana Chamber during its Human Resources Conference & Expo Awards Luncheon, recognizes the recipient’s high moral and ethical standing and significant contributions to his/her organization’s human resources function. Vanzo is executive vice president of associate engagement and integration for Old National Bank. She joined the bank in 1994. Currently she serves as a member of Old National’s senior-most leadership group while directing the company’s Human Resources, Training and Integration departments. Vanzo also provides critical leadership to the company’s Diversity & Inclusion and Work Life teams. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. An active community volunteer, she is past board president of the Arts Council of Southwest Indiana, and past board vice-president for Tales & Scales. Currently she serves on the board for the Mulberry Center and ECHO Community Health. She is also a volunteer for United Way and has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
