Evansville-based Old National Bancorp (Nasdaq: ONB) has promoted Mark Bradford to chief executive officer of the Indianapolis region. Bradford, who is also CEO of the company’s north central region, covering Bloomington and Columbus, has served in the role on an interim basis since June.

Old National says Bradford will retain his duties as CEO of the north central region, in addition to his new role. The company has also promoted Scott Shishman to president of the north central region.

"Mark Bradford epitomizes what it means to be a servant leader in community banking and is the ideal candidate to serve in this critical strategic role for Old National," said Jim Sandgren, president and chief operating officer of Old National.

Before joining Old National, Bradford, a graduate of Indiana State University, served as president, CEO and director of Monroe Bank for 12 years.
