NTN Moves Forward With Anderson Plans

Subscribe NowColumbus-based NTN Driveshaft Inc. has closed on an 80-acre property in Anderson, where it plans to open a $130 million plant. Previous reports indicate the company, which is a subsidiary of a Japan-based manufacturer, could bring more than 400 new jobs to the area.
The 80-acre site is near the Nestle plant in Anderson. The company employs more than 1,500 in Columbus, and says the new jobs could average $46,000 per year. NTN also has a presence in Frankfort.
Seattle-based Colliers International, which advises the Flagship Enterprise Center on real estate matters, says a formal groundbreaking is set for next month.
