St. John comes in fourth and Crown Point is fifth in the rankings.
The study suggests St. John had 202 new home starts, while Crown Point had 198 in the same period. The report predicted the market will “continue in recovery mode,” saying it is likely the Chicago area will see between 4,500 and 5,500 housing starts this year.
