North Salem State Bank names CFO

Joyce comes to the Hendricks County bank after most recently serving as CFO of Elements Financial Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis.
Joyce was also the founding CFO of Heartland Community Bank in Johnson County and served in that role until 2012, when the bank was acquired by Michigan City-based Horizon Bancorp (Nasdaq: HBNC).
“Jeff has been a pillar in the banking community for more than 20 years and we are blessed to have him join the NSSB team,” North Salem President and CEO Matt Howrey said in a news release.
Joyce earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University and also completed the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin. He started his career as an accountant for Crowe LLP.
North Salem State Bank, which celebrates its centennial this year, operates branches in Clayton, Danville, Greencastle, Jamestown, Lebanon, North Salem, and Plainfield.
