This year’s award will honor “worthy first responders from across Indiana who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their care of COVID-19 patients.”
This is the first time the ISOCF is accepting nominations from the public for the award.
“The many sacrifices and unselfish care provided by first responders of all types – police officers, fire fighters, EMTs, nurses, doctors, or any other individual with a compelling story of courage – will be honored,” Julie Griffith, president of the ISOCF. “The ISOCF needs your help in nominating worthy first responders, and citizens are urged to submit nominations today.”
The deadline for nominations is October 15. The recipient will be honored during the ISOCF Annual Dinner on December 4 in Chicago.
