Would you say it’s one of the best in the entire state of Indiana? If you said yes, then now’s the time to nominate your company for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s annual Best Places to Work in Indiana program.
This is the 15th year for the program. It honors top organizations in the state as determined through employer reports and employee surveys.
“We are urging these companies to participate in the Best Places program so they can be recognized for their accomplishments, as well as learn valuable confidential information from their team to further strengthen their culture,” says Indiana Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Brinegar.
Companies need to have at least 15 employees in Indiana to be eligible. Out-of-state parent companies may also apply but they have at least 15 full-time employees here in-state.
Here’s the process: Employers complete a questionnaire and employees fill out an anonymous engagement and satisfaction survey. Those applications will be analyzed for strengths in the company and opportunities for improvement in the workplace.
The Indy Chamber says there are four categories, ranging from small to major companies. “We know employers from all over the state strive to be the best in their respective industries while fostering an inclusive environment for their workforces,” said Brinegar.
The application process is now open with a deadline of November 15. The winners will be honored at an awards dinner next April.
Winners will also be recognized via a special supplement to the Indiana Chamber’s bimonthly BizVoice magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick.
