Nominations open for 2025 Indiana Farm Family of the Year

Subscribe NowBeck’s Hybrids and Indiana AgriNews is seeking nominations for the 2025 Indiana Farm Family of the Year award. The honor recognizes the “dedication and achievements of an outstanding Indiana farm family, spotlighting their exceptional contributions to agriculture and their community.”
The organizations said in a news release that the award aims to highlight the pivotal role that farm families play in shaping Indiana’s agricultural landscape.
“Family farms are the lifeblood of the agriculture industry and the backbone of rural communities,” Beck’s Hybrids President Scott Beck said in the release. “This award honors a family that exemplifies unwavering commitment and service to both.”
Nominations for the 2025 award are being accepted through Tuesday, Oct. 15. The organizers say the award is not limited to one part of the state and is not restricted to a particular type or size of farm.

The 2024 Indiana Farm Family Award went to the Muegge family in Hancock County.
