The grant is designed to help small businesses to remain operational by supporting unmet immediate needs such as maintaining payroll and paying rent and utilities, among other expenses.
“Noblesville’s grant program will be focused on those businesses that may not be eligible for other assistance or that have immediate needs beyond that which can be met by other federal and state assistance programs,” Jensen said. “Due to required closures and other restrictions imposed to protect public health, many local businesses have experienced severe reductions in revenues. Small businesses are crucial part of the fabric of our community, and we hope this grant will provide assistance and promote economic vitality within the city.”
Grant applications must be submitted by close of business on Friday. According to a release, a second round of applications may be considered depending on available funds.
