NFHS Promotes Meriweather to Chief Talent Officer

Subscribe NowThe National Federation of State High School Associations has promoted Mautrice Meriweather to chief talent officer. She has been with the organization for 18 years. Meriweather most recently served as manager of executive affairs and staff relations. She has been responsible for the onboarding process for all new employees, directing professional development opportunities for staff members, assisting the legal department staff and development/monitoring of five internal budgets.
Meriweather, who earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University in 2001 and her master’s in communication from IU in 2015, was assistant to the executive director and human resources manager at Community Action in Indianapolis for four years prior to joining the NFHS staff.
Currently, Meriweather is a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association Executive Council and the IU School of Liberal Arts Search Committee. She was president of the IU School of Liberal Arts Alumni Board from 2015 to 2017.
